The Wizard and the Lion

SCREENPLAY ON J. R. R. TOLKIEN AND C. S. LEWIS

I spent a year in Oxford, England, home of J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis, to catch the ambience for writing a movie script about their close friendship—and later falling out. The screenplay has not been picked up (yet!), but did get some attention from producers as well as an endorsement from the Oxford C. S. Lewis Society. The Wizard and the Lion is registered with the Screenwriter’s Guild of America. Read it here.

Dudes in Robes

UNLIKELY SUSPECTS BEHIND THE ALTAR

Dudes in Robes is a series I produced and directed profiling men in our small Orthodox church with interesting callings—a rock musician, wine expert, visual artist, consciousness-expanding hippie, and a Bob Jones graduate—all of whom are unlikely suspects for wearing a robe behind the altar on Sunday. Each of them shares in their own way how their altar work is only a taste of the eternal liturgy conducted by our High Priest in heaven.
